Matte look polish is something that is here to stay. A departure from a classic glossy mani, adding matte topcoat gives your look a fabulously frosted finish. Runways were packed with nude look manis for spring summer 14 and this is a fresh way to take on the trend.

The best advice for choosing the perfect nude goes a little like choosing your foundation. Pick a tone that is warm against your skin tone, as colder shades will only make your hands look flat. The idea is to look groomed; your perfect nude should give your skin a polished pop of colour.

One of my all time favourites is Essie ‘Lady Like’ a soft rosey-nude with the perfect amount of pink.  I added a thin coat o Essie ‘Matte About You’ for a twist on the trend.
