We are open!

The Team at MINK Dublin are following strict Covid Protocols for your safety.

Our first priority, as always, is the safety of our customers and staff. With that in mind, we have introduced some new protection and safety measures at our MINK locations.

Please take the time to read our protocol below, before your next visit with us.

Limited Offering &
Extended Hours

Our treatment menu will operate on a limited offering, and we advise simultaneous appointments where possible, to reduce the duration of your visit in store.

Staff are coordinated into teams in order to ensure contact tracing is possible at all times. All contact details will be taken, as normal, for every customer attending an appointment.

Cleaning

Every surface will be cleaned after each customer with the appropriate sanitiser between every appointment. All high-touch surfaces, including all manicure and pedicure screens, are fitted with an antimicrobial film. You will find stickers placed on these surfaces, within your surroundings to reassure you. This film provides year round protection against viruses and bacteria.

All seating, including our manicure and pedicure chairs have been treated with Bacterlon™ to reduce and suppress germ transmission.

Equipment

All items of equipment will be disinfected before and after every service. All metal tools are autoclaved and presented to you in a sterile, single-use sealed pouch. Our files, pedicure files and buffers are single use and disposed after each customer.

MINK use compostable, single-use luxury towels for all services. This environmentally friendly step not only helps our company reduce it’s footprint, but also provides a hygienic solution, while still providing a luxurious touch point to our customers.

Opening Hours

We have extended our opening hours to facilitate clients, and staff are coordinated into teams and shifts in order to ensure contact tracing is possible at all times.

Our Team

Team & Training

All team members are trained in full to care for our clients in a safe, hygienic and professional manner.

As a part of our internal training, all staff know not to attend the workplace if they present with a temperature, are feeling symptomatic, or if any person in their household is unwell and/or is self-isolating with symptoms.

Our team have the opportunity to temperate check at the beginning of every working day, along with an isolation room if any symptoms present during working hours.

Social Distance

Social distancing is applied, where possible, in all communal staff areas within our salons.

We maintain a level of social distancing where possible within our stores, including waiting areas.

Gloves, Masks & Visors

Our team will wear gloves, masks and visors where applicable for the service. All team members will wash their hands before and after each client service.

Client Care

We kindly ask that in order to maintain full adherence to our safety protocol, appointments must be booked in advance of arrival. We will stagger client appointment times to avoid over-crowding at check-in areas, where possible.

We will continue to meet and greet you warmly, without any physical contact. Hand sanitiser must be used on entry to the salon.

Please minimise what you bring with you. We also request no use of mobile phones or laptops during your service, and we ask that all clients attend their appointment alone. We are not able to cater for very young children, and we ask for your understanding. Little Princess services are available to book, and we ask that you use accompany your child at all times during the service. A mask will be required during the visit to protect both staff and customers.

If you wish to purchase any retail products, we would be delighted to prepare and package them for you during your service, which you can collect safely on checkout.

We would kindly ask…

We strongly advise immunocompromised, at risk and vulnerable persons to consider your risks before scheduling an appointment.

Please you do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell or presenting any Covid symptoms. Please bear in mind that we operate a strict 24-hour cancellation policy.

Parking can be difficult on Shelbourne Road, if booked with us in Mink Ballsbridge, please allow additional time.

Please wear a face mask on arrival, if you do not bring a face mask we will provide you one at a small surcharge. Please note we have removed magazines from the salon.

We are delighted to resume serving hot drinks during your service. We will continue serving tea and coffee in a single-use compostable cup, along with complimentary single-use bottled water.

All appointments must be paid by card only, we will no longer be exchanging cash on site.

We cannot offer cash back for any purpose, including gratuities and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Our goal is to be a cash-free business for the foreseeable future, to limit any risk of transmission.

The opportunity to leave your therapist a gratuity directly is still possible. Please ask our Front of House team for details on adding a gratuity at the time of your check out, which goes directly to your therapist electronically.

We are thrilled to introduce STRIKEPAY as an alternative means to leave a gratuity.

We appreciate your support and patience.
